The Lido is the seaside part of the municipality of Camaiore: a promenade of about three kilometres lined with numerous beach clubs and a beach of golden sand.
As early as the beginning of the twentieth century the resort attracted guests such as Gabriele D’Annunzio, Eleonora Duse and King Victor Emmanuel III.
Its symbol today is the pier, which ends in a large circular terrace of about 700 square metres overlooking the sea. And just a few kilometres away lies the old town of Camaiore, on the Via Francigena.
